Alright Planelopnik fellows. Who can tell me what this is? The bulbous fuselage and high cockpit suggest nose-loading, and the anhedral wings make me think of the Russian cargo planes, for some reason.
There’s also that retarded part of my brain saying C-5, but I’m pretty sure it’s not. Looked like civil colors.

It looks a lot like an Antonov 124.

That’s an Antonov AN-124; the “little brother” (heh) of the gianter AN-225.

Pretty sure that's a lambo, dude.

I’m glad my gut reaction of thinking it was an Antonov something was on target. Not something you’d expect to see at Portland International.

Volga Dnepr Antonov AN-124. I see these all the time flying into Moffett Field (just north of San Jose, CA). They must haul stuff for Lockheed Martin.

Shouldn’t that be “the number of wheels on that plane is too damn high?”

Volga-Dnepr Cargo. Ukrainian (I believe) outsized/heavy-lift cargo carrier.

It looks like the plane was smiling.

Volga-Dnepr does a lot of heavy haul for the military and (I think) the State Department, so it’s more likely than you think!
